Product Description:
The GE DS200SDCCG1AFD is a Drive Control Board designed for GE’s Mark V Turbine Control System— a highly sought-after series for wind, steam, and gas turbine drive control, and one of the final GE Mark lines to integrate patented Speedtronic technology.
As the primary drive controller, it features a triple-microprocessor architecture with shared RAM to divide tasks efficiently: one microprocessor handles drive control-related data, while the other two focus on motor control—including one dedicated to math-intensive computations. Its voltage suppression and regulation rely on Mark V-standard components, such as capacitors, resistors, transistors, diodes, and integrated circuits, and it uses a normal Mark V PCB assembly style.
Configuration requires connecting the board to a laptop via a serial cable. Steps include configuring the laptop’s serial port, downloading/installing configuration software, editing the configuration file, and uploading it to the board. Power must be disconnected from the drive before disconnecting the serial cable to avoid high-energy current hazards.
